Skype Community has 2 million registered users
Microsoft is proud to announce that the Skype Community has reached a new milestone of two million registered users."We are thrilled that two million people from around the world have
joined us to ask and answer questions, share stories and talk about
Skype", the company recently sjare in a blog post.
"To the two million users who have joined our Community already, thank
you for joining us on this journey. We couldn’t have done it without
your support. If you haven’t joined yet, there are great opportunities
coming up on the Community to make yourself heard so now is a great time
to dive in", the company continued.
Also, the firm has announced in past days that Skype's video calls are now free for all users. "For the last few years, we’ve offered group video calling to Premium
users on Windows desktop and Mac and more recently Xbox One. Today,
we’re excited to announce that we’re making group video calling free –
for all users on these platforms. And, in the future, we’ll be enabling
group video calling for all our users across more platforms - at no
cost."
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Luxembourg, Skype is a division of Microsoft Corp.
