to preliminary information, in November 2014 the IMACEC grew 1.3% over
the same month a year before. The seasonally

adjusted series rose 0.2% with respect
to the previous month, and 1.6% in twelve months.
The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) has released the results for the 39 countries of the region that jointly participated in the International Comparison Programme (ICP), Round 2011. The report shows that the average GDP per capita in Purchasing Power Parities (PPPs) for Latin America is estimated equal to 12,443 dollars while for Caribbean is 16,351 dollars.
According to preliminary information from Chile's Central Bank, last February the monthly economic indicator (IMACEC) rose 2.9% over the same month a year before. The seasonally-adjusted series increased 0.2% with respect to the previous month, and 2.5% in twelve months. The month came with the same number of working days as February 2013. The result reflected, mainly, dynamism in the mining and retail sectors.
According to preliminary information, last June the IMACEC rose 4.2% over June 2012. The seasonally-adjusted series rose 1.0% with respect to the previous month, and 4.6% compared with the same month a year ago. The month came with one less working day than June 2012.
According to preliminary information, last March Economic Activity Index ("IMACEC") increased 3.1% over the same month a year before, chilean Central Bank informed today. This results was under market expectations and consensus forecasts for this indicator.
4.9 percent will grow the chilean economy in 2012, acording to the
World Economic Outlook report, published by the International Monetary
Fund (IMF) analyzing global and regional situations. In the same
report, the organism projects a 4.6 percent in 2014 in the same
indicator for our country, giving a positive perspective in the
evolution of this macroeconomic indicator for the next two years.
The dollar is still maintaining it's trend to going down, closing
today at CLP $467.20, CLP $ 1.9 down from the price reached last Friday.
