Imacec rose to 2.9% in february

According to preliminary information from Chile's Central Bank, last February the monthly economic indicator (IMACEC) rose 2.9% over the same month a year before. The seasonally-adjusted series increased 0.2% with respect to the previous month, and 2.5% in twelve months. The month came with the same number of working days as February 2013. The result reflected, mainly, dynamism in the mining and retail sectors.
